Use may cause retinal vascular thrombosis.

Caution in those with asthma.

Use may cause impairment in glucose tolerance. Caution in those with diabetes. 

Use caution in those with diseases that may be exacerbated by fluid retention.

Use of postmenopausal estsrogen may increase the risk of gallbladder disease requiring surgery.

Caution in those with hepatic hemangiomas.
