How does it work?
When Flovent is given by the inhalation route, it has anti-inflammatory effects in the lungs, resulting in reduced symptoms and exacerbations of asthma.
How do I administer my Flovent inhaler?
- You will need to prime the medication before first use or if it has not been used for 7 days.
- To prime, you will release 4 puffs into the air away from the face. You must shake your inhaler well for 5 seconds between each puff. The counter should read “120” after priming.
