Comfortis Information

Comfortis is a chewable tablet and it is available in five flavored sizes. It is for oral administration and given to puppies and dogs according to their body weights.  The drug is a member of the spinosyns class of insecticides. It is a tricyclic non—antibacterial macrolide. It is used for preventing and treating flea infestation on dogs

Recommended Use

Comfortis is a prescription drug and should be used according to the doctor's prescription. It is to be used orally once a month. The usual dosage is 30 mg per kilogram body weight.  The dog should only be given one tablet and it should be chewed and not swallowed.

Side Effects
